Lalinda is heading the research and business development pillars of ICRA Lanka and responsible for developing the firm’s economic and market perspectives. An economist by trade and an interdisciplinary professional with years of experience in multiple sectors, his professional experience extends to successful consultancies to major private and public organizations in Sri Lanka and international engagements. His research interests include financial economics, macroeconomics and economic modeling and he has contributed to several research publications and think tank activities. He is a long standing executive committee member of Sri Lanka Economic Association (SLEA). Lalinda has appeared in numerous national television programmes to discuss economic issues and frequently writes to national newspapers on topics related to economics. He has been a panelist in several economic forums and commented on the fiscal policy and taxation. Lalinda was also invited to conduct guest lectures on topics related to macroeconomics at University of Colombo.
